In June, class three visited Chedworth Roman Villa. We were keen to find out more about the Romans.

We studied Roman artefacts found at Chedworth to find out what they tell us about Roman life there.

We saw the remains of the hypocaust, an under floor heating system.

We especially enjoyed learning about how the Romans went to the toilet!

The Mosaics in the dining room were wonderful.

Class 3 dressed as slaves and made a special medicine from herbs and spices.

It was a fantastic trip and we all learnt lots about the lives of Romans, even the teachers!
