October 2009
We visited the Slimbridge Wetland Centre this term as part of our scientific study of habitats.

We learnt how important wetland habitats are, and found out about all the plants and animals that need water to survive.

We fed the rarest goose in the world, the Nene.
We were amazed at the variety of birds and other animals that can be seen at Slimbridge. We especially liked the dancing flamingos and the family of otters!
