It has been a busy term for Year 5 with lots of fun activities going on in school.
During Arts Week we made African masks, here you can see us in the making stage and the finished products. We all had great fun making these!

This year following on from our successful ‘French’ and ‘Spanish’ days in previous years, we decided that this year it would be ‘Italian Day’. The children took great care in designing and making their costumes, they also sampled and made lots of Italian food as well as learning about the country and its culture and learning the language.

Science Week as in previous years was also a great success, the children went to the Science Festival and learnt about their body, here you can see them using stethoscopes and trying to locate their heartbeat. We also had a visit from Zoolab who brought in lots of fascinating animals and told us lots about them
