Activities for pupils are arranged outside school hours and participation is voluntary. Pupils who do take part are expected to show committment and to account for any absences. Teachers and parent helpers are actively involved during lunchtimes and after school in various clubs. Inter-school team games are all coached outside school hours.
Peripatetic music teachers come into school on a weekly basis to give lessons to junior pupils who wish to learn to play an instrument. They are taught individually or in small groups and can learn piano, keyboard, violin and guitar as well as woodwind and brass instruments. |
